Gettin' Crafty!
When we lived in our apartment, I always liked to have a cute little wreath or door sign hanging. Since our apartment was in a large building, our front door walked out to a hallway, so I never got anything big. But, I knew as soon as we moved into our house that I wanted a real wreath for the front door! I priced around on wreaths that I liked, but all were $25 minimum! I wasn't about to spend that kind of money on a wreath, so I took matters into my own hands!
And I created this little beauty for under $10! I found the yellow stuff at a garage sale for $3 and it was exactly what I had been looking for! Actually, I wanted red, but yellow would do just fine! I ran to a craft store, and picked up a twig wreath base for $2 and some odd cents, a spool of ribbon for 97 cents and some floral wire for a few bucks (and said wire will last me for years to come!). So instead of paying $25 for a wreath, I put my creative juices to good work and only spent about $5! I plan to do the same within a few weeks here with an autumn leaf garland that I know craft stores have in abundance (I actually saw one at WAGS this week for $4.99 as well).
It's amazing that I can switch up the look of our front door for only $5 as often as I want! Now that Works for Me!

Thank you! It looks a little scraggly in the picture...I should have fluffed it up a bit!
